Matrimonial disputes are on the rise by every passing day. The children are not only the worst victims of such discord and acrimony, but they become the biggest bone of contention as well. The love and attachment of child and the craving to torture the other parent by depriving him/her of the company of the child, on many occasions, prompts one parent to bring the child to India and not to let the deprived parent to even come close to the child.

The defaulting parent will try her/his best to lay obstacles in the efforts of the other parent to come near the child or to reclaim child’s custody, by filing false criminal cases(s) implicating him alongwith his/her family members, in order to thwart efforts to reclaim access to the child.

In such a precarious situation there is a need to physically and legally safeguard the interest of the aggrieved parent. The arrival of the aggrieved parent has to be safeguarded by getting adequate protection orders or anticipatory bail from the courts, as the case may be.
